Last verified: July 19, 2026. This guide covers pricing on lyria-3.pro. Google's own Gemini subscriptions and Gemini API billing are separate products.
Can you try it free?
Yes. A new account receives enough platform credits for one standard music generation, so you can hear a result before buying. The free allowance is a one-time product trial, not a promise of unlimited daily songs.
The generator shows the credit cost of the selected model before submission. Costs can differ because the platform includes multiple providers and generation modes.
The two recommended starting choices
The pricing page now leads with the plans that have already produced real purchases:
| Plan | Current USD price | Best for | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Try one-time | $49 | A credit balance without a recurring commitment | One payment |
| Try monthly | $39/month | Creators who generate on a steady schedule | Recurring; cancel future renewals |
Higher-volume Pro and Max options remain available under View all plans, but they are not the default recommendation for a first purchase.

The live checkout page is the source of truth. Currency conversion, taxes, promotions, provider availability, and plan contents can change.
How platform credits work
Credits are usage units inside lyria-3.pro; they are not US dollars and are not the same as Gemini API tokens.
Before generating:
- Select a model.
- Check its displayed credit cost.
- Submit the prompt.
- Credits are reserved/consumed for the task.
- If a tracked task reaches a failed or canceled terminal state, the system reverses its linked credit consumption.
One-time credits avoid automatic renewal. Subscription credits and validity follow the exact plan terms shown at checkout.
Why Google's API price is different
Google currently lists developer pricing of $0.04 per Lyria 3 Clip generation and $0.08 per Lyria 3 Pro generation. That is an upstream API charge for developers. It does not include a retail product's storage, retries, other models, support, payment fees, fraud, free trials, or workflow tools.

Do not compare a retail credit pack directly with $0.08 × number of songs and assume the difference is profit. A real margin calculation also needs successful-output rate, retries, payment fees, refunds, support, advertising, and unused/expired credits.
One-time or monthly?
Choose one-time when:
- you are still testing whether the workflow fits;
- output volume is irregular;
- you do not want an automatic renewal.
Choose monthly when:
- you have already completed at least two useful generations;
- you create every week;
- the recurring credit allocation is cheaper for your actual usage.
Do not subscribe only because the per-credit number looks lower. The better metric is cost per exported result you actually use.
A simple buying calculation
Estimate:
usable songs per month × credits per selected model × retry factor
Use a retry factor above 1 because not every generation will be worth keeping. For example, if you need 10 usable songs and typically keep one out of two generations, budget for roughly 20 attempts, then compare that requirement with the live plan credit amounts.
Billing safeguards
- Checkout displays the amount and currency before payment.
- Monthly/yearly cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund past periods.
- Refund eligibility follows the Refund Policy.
- Keep the order number when contacting support.
Start with one free result, create a variation to test repeat value, then buy the smallest plan that covers measured usage.
